Installation
Luminaire for recessed mounting or surface mounting. IP40. When recessed, the product accommodates ceiling thicknesses between 5 and 25 mm. Also for ventilated areas. Decor ring for surface mounting enclosed. For detailed information, see the installation instructions.
Connection
For 230 V AC, 50/60 Hz. Class I. Phase, neutral conductor, protective earth and monitoring cables. All connections are gathered in the luminaire body in a snap-in, 6-way terminal block. The detachable lower section housing the electronics and battery where applicable is connected to the terminal block in the luminaire body with a “plug-in” connection. Through-wiring of 2.5 mm² conductor possible (all poles). 4 x 16 mm cable entries fitted with blanking grommets on the top. Strain relief for movable conductors with recess mounting supplied. Decor ring is prepared for a surface-mounted mains cable. Decentralised emergency light function, three hours operation in emergency lighting mode. White LED only works in emergency mode (so-called non-maintained). NiMH battery and two-colour (green/red) status diodes. Equipped with self-test as standard (Autotest IV, see separate section) equivalent to standard SS-EN 62034 and with the possibility of external monitoring via DALI. Equipped with test button for manually starting a short function test.
Design
Plastic parts of PC/ABS-plastic. Spring clips for recess mounting made of stainless spring steel.
