Historical foundry building converted to modern office

The Swedish Energy Agency based in Eskilstuna needed lighting with focus on energy efficiency and the best light comfort available on the market. The office is placed in a converted foundry building from the 1930s and the interior lighting needed to work in harmony with the industry characteristics.

The project had the ambition to preserve the history of the building whilst the still developing an office environment that would meet the demands of today. The new HQ for the Energy Agency is a top modern, activity based office for the 400 employees. The office was opened in October 2017.

16 Dino luminaries forms a circle in the open area giving the space an artistic feel. Notor and Pleiad provides the general light and Touch* spotlights add dynamic vertical light.
