Visual comfort in the activity-based office

Visual comfort is a subjective impression and deals with creating a positive experience. It must be easy to see various objects without becoming tired and the environ- ment must feel comfortable with realistic colours. Visual comfort is created with the right amount of good quality light and a sophisticated light distribution. An excellent visual environment creates comfort and supports produc- tivity. Too little light or incorrect planning may have the opposite effect. As always our LED luminaires have been developed with visual comfort in mind. By planning with ambient lighting we can create a light environment that makes people more alert and able to perform better.
