Closs is a ceiling luminaire for efficient light planning in workplaces and schools. The luminaire combines high luminous fluxes, light comfort and energy efficiency with easy installation.
Installation
Luminaire for surface-mounted or pendant installation. For installation in wire pendant, a balance weight, wire suspension and wire bracket 94489 are required; see Accessories. For detailed information, see the installation instructions.
Connection
For permanent connection; integrated driver in the luminaire. The luminaire is supplied with a cable entry on the top. For surface-mounted cable, there is a knockout in the end cap. Connection via snap-in terminal block (3x1.5 mm²/5x1.5 mm²) (DALI) in the middle of the luminaire. 1-phase through-wiring possible. CLO (Constant Light Output).
Design
Luminaire body made of sheet steel. Lacquered in white (RAL 9016 G40) or in alu-grey (RAL 9006) structured lacquer. Die-cast aluminium end caps, made from post-consumer recycled material. Designed by Epsilon.

Optics
Beta Opti – side and crosswise semi-gloss reflectors in metallised aluminium with an integrated opal film that minimises the risk of uncomfortable glare from the LEDs. Variants with additional cross-blades for lower UGR are available.
Easy to recycle & ready to upgrade
The product is made from fewer material types and without glue, making it easy to dismantle. Screw and snap-in features allow components to be easily separated. This increases the potential for of end-of-life recycling. The design also allows parts to be replaced rather than having to replace the entire product. This extends the product’s working life and reduces waste.
Made in Sweden
The product is manufactured in Fagerhult’s factory in Habo, Sweden. The production process has a low climate impact, using energy from 100% renewable sources. Local manufacturing ensures clean production, high quality, reduced transportation and good working conditions.
Constant Light Output (CLO)
The luminaire is available with Constant Light Output (CLO), providing the right level of light throughout it’s working life and thereby reducing energy consumption. CLO can save up to 36% energy compared to L70. It is also often the case that fewer luminaires are needed, reducing investment and operating costs as well as climate impact.
e-Sense BrightSwitchPIR sensor
Simple control system that provides automatic on/off or dimming between high/low level that is controlled by presence or ambient light.
