Fagerhult created a playful and dynamic lighting concept in collaboration with design agency Shed for That Social Place’s new cocktail bar and crazy golf experience hidden under the arches at Battersea Power Station.

Birdies is a vibrant and exciting sport social hybrid that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the world of crazy golf while enjoying delicious food and cocktails.

Fagerhult used mixture of pendant lighting, spotlighting and a neon pink feature rope in this lighting installation. This to create a flexible ambient lighting scheme that allows the space to transition flawlessly from day to night, from a family friendly, bright environment to dynamic cocktail bar with high contrast in the evening.

Each of the 9 holes on the golf course has its own integrated lighting and Fagerhult has strategically placed narrow beam spotlights to highlight key focal points allowing the design features of each hole to stand out.

"The process of conceptualising and creating the scheme and it’s vibrant cocktail bar was just as much fun and crazy as the final scheme and experience itself."
