Sales Person - South West (Junior or Senior)

We are looking for a driven Sales Person to develop and manage business across the South West region. The role will focus on building relationships with key stakeholders including lighting designers, M&E consultants and architects, while promoting Fagerhult product portfolio.

Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities within the South West territory
  • Manage and grow relationships with consultants and specifiers
  • Promote lighting solutions through presentations and CPDs
  • Secure specifications and convert them into sales
  • Provide technical and commercial support to clients
  • Track projects from specification through to completion
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and reporting via CRM
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets

Key skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation ability
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to understand technical lighting solutions (training provided)
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Lighting industry experience (highly advantageous but not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of specification sales process (desirable)
  • Experience working with M&E consultants or architects (desirable)

Junior vs Senior Profile:

Junior Sales Person

  • 0–3 years’ experience (lighting, electrical, or construction desirable)
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge
  • May come from an internal sales or graduate background
  • Supported by senior team members and training programmes

Senior Sales Person:

  • 5+ years’ experience in lighting or related specification sales
  • Strong network with consultants, architects, and contractors
  • Proven track record of securing specifications and delivering projects
  • Able to work autonomously and manage key accounts strategically
