Implementing a 'gold concept' with Escada

Fagerhult Russia was chosen to implement the new 'gold concept’ in the first Moscow Escada boutique opened in accordance with the New Look. Fagerhult acted as a partner, lighting consultant and of course a supplier for a 350 m2 Escada boutique, situated in the heart of Moscow.


The Escada Group is a globally operating group of companies in the luxury segment and ranks among the global market leaders for ready-to-wear women’s fashion in the high-end segment. Escada is present in 80 countries worldwide.

Anastasia Simonis, a designer within the Escada office, developed the interior design. In this particular store the Escada “gold concept” was implemented. An appropriate lighting solution to align this exclusive concept should be a nice, smooth and elegant one enhancing the fashionable brand.


The luminaires provided were recessed spotlights, Dip and Noc, 35 W/70 W in the sunken quadratic slits in the ceiling above the sales areas - creating a nice, commercial light. In the stylish fitting rooms, lined with mirrors Pleiad Power LED and Thinlights were installed and above the staircase and corridors the recessed spotlight DO amongst some other fixtures.

The result was an exclusive store with lighting that complemented the premium brand atmosphere – and a happy customer. In fact Anastasia Simonis also recommended Fagerhult as lighting designers for another Escada franchising shop – a project that Fagerhult very much look forward to.
