The upper secondary school in Herning has exciting design elements attached to the ceiling – Globia hanging in colourful strings.
This is the first upper secondary school in Denmark that combined the higher commercial examination or HHX and the higher technical examination or HTX.
The school's focus is on entrepreneurship and innovation. And when talking about innovation, there is an element in the building that gives a hint. It is the long colourful yarn-like wires hanging from the ceiling creating an exiting innovative interior element.
This creative light installation of Globia fills the normally empty space between the ceiling and floor. With a new installation of coulorful threads the school environment gets an exiting touch of design.
The architects KHR arkitekter has also combined innovative design with function and has installed several of our downlight series Pleiad in the building.
