Shopping in the right light

Täby Centrum is one of Sweden's largest shopping center facilities with 260 shops, restaurants and cafes on an area of 78,000 square meters. They needed to modernize their lighting for more energy-efficient LED luminaires, and the choice fell on Fagerhults easily installed Pleiad G4.
Täby Centrum consists of a unique mix of well-known Swedish brands and international giants. Täby Centrum is certified according to the environmental certification system BREEAM * with the grade "Excellent" during the design phase.
The reason for the modernization was a sustainability aspect of lighting, as the property company wanted more energy-efficient luminaires. The choice of luminaires ended up at Fagerhult, due to the high performance and quality that Pleiad G4 has. One problem in the project was that the hole pattern in the inner ceiling where existing luminaires were set, did not match with any luminaire manufacturer's hole pattern. We solved this with a customized retrofit kit that made the assembly efficient and easy.
In addition to Pleiad, Fagerhult also installed 3 500 meters of Relay Rail* in the premises. This to give a soft ambient light and create a cosy indoor feeling.
