Citygrid

Linked Solution

This is the actual platform for Citygrid – from a small solution for one or more luminaires at a bus stop or car park, up to a larger number of luminaires along pedestrian/bike paths, illuminated exercise loops or neighbourhood streets.

Citygrid_Skalbart system_Linked Solution.pngThe interconnected system can be added to an existing installation with DALI luminaires, expanded to include new luminaires or upgraded to Connected Solution at any time. The luminaires have connected passive infrared (PIR) sensors for occupancy control and the luminaires communicate with each other wirelessly via a radio protocol.

Benefits

  • Quick and simple installation.

  • All functions are integrated into the luminaires with automatic lighting control via sensors.

  • The app enables you to test and read the installation’s values to show the current status.

  • The On Pole device is pole-mounted and enables control of all DALI luminaires. Includes sensor and radio module.

  • The Zhaga devices provide additional flexibility for connecting any type of luminaire equipped with a Zhaga socket according to Zhaga Book 18.

  • Future-proof scalability – easy to expand.

Flexible linking

For optimal functionality, there are two different ways of linking luminaires. Either via group affiliation and distance, or via direct linking between luminaires

Motion Group

A linked Motion Group solution is the default setting in the devices (from Firmware 1.5.1). The devices are interconnected (linked) according to a distance in a Motion Group. With Motion Groups, all luminaires within a defined radius belonging to the same group will light unless otherwise configured. The default setting is 80 metres.

Motion Graph

This is the origin of a linked solution and is an alternative you can use instead of the current default setting with Motion Group. With Motion Graph, a predetermined number of linked luminaires is switched on. This can be easily defined in the Citygrid app during commissioning.
