About Aluflex 9
Aluflex 9 has the inbuilt flexibility to combine modules from the entire Aluflex family when building the panel. A uniformed appearance is ensured by using cover profiles on the top and lower edges. The lower panel has a straight, uncomplicated design.
Aluflex 9 is intended for ward rooms. The starting point is the basic duct, which can be extended in height using an optional number of ducts for electricity and gas, selected from the Aluflex family. Sockets for voice and data communication are added as required. The panel can be fitted with equipment rails on the lower edge, but it is also possible to fit a profile with an integrated equipment rail on the panel’s top edge. The equipment is then easy-to-access without hoses obstructing the other outlet sockets. It is also possible to integrate general, reading and examination lighting. Aluflex 9 can be mounted horizontally or vertically.
Electrical cables and gas pipes can be connected in three ways; from the side via the panel’s end-cap, via holes in the bottom profile’s rear and from above via the supply duct. All electrical and gas outlet sockets are internally connected and routed to terminal blocks at the connection end.
Aluflex 9 is a group of ducts where the gas duct with straight profile forms the base. An unlimited number of intermediate ducts can then be added, finished with a straight, sloping or round cover section or with a continuous luminaire installation on top. The panels can be supplied in lengths up to 6200 mm without being joined.
Electrical socket outlets
Aluflex 9 is equipped with the desired number of heavy and low current outlet sockets. The outlet sockets are fitted in the equipment bracket, type click-fix, which is snapped onto the front edge of the bottom section. The front cover can be easily dismantled without affecting the installations in the panel. The panel can be equipped with different national standard outlet.
End-caps can be used to terminate the panel.
All sections are manufactured of extruded aluminium. The bottom and front section, used for outlet sockets, are available as standard in natural anodised or white anodised finishes (RAL 9010). Alternative colour finishes are available at an additional charge. The panel has a smooth external face that facilitates easy cleaning.
The outlets for medical gases are intended for direct connection to medical equipment or, for hose connections, to equipment that is attached to the intensive care rail.
The panel can be equipped with general lighting through a continuous luminaire mounted on the top edge. The reflector directs the light asymmetrically (upwards/outwards) towards the ceiling, providing the room with indirect lighting.
